Jerry Smith

Jerry Smith is the author of Does God Give Us More Than We Can Bear? and is the personification of survival and persevering through whatever obstacles life puts in your way. His grandmother died giving birth and his mom was born a deaf-mute and abandoned. Later, his mom was raped, Jerry was born, and subsequently abandoned. He grew up in foster care, worked his way through college and married. As if Jerry hadn’t suffered enough, his wife was murdered, grandson killed at 15, and he attempted suicide. By age 50, Jerry finally realized happiness and success, earned his CPA and owned 6 real estate offices before retiring. At 64, he was diagnosed with an incurable lung disease and given 6 months to live. Not one to rest on his laurels, Jerry found a cure in Germany, made with a serum using his own blood. 2 years later, he became the first known person in the world ever cured of Pulmonary Fibrosis. Jerry speaks extensively on the subject of hope and can absolutely help reinvent how you deal with life, its tragedies, and your inner strength to triumph regardless of your circumstances.
